How to make the honey and sugar scrub

We all know that body scrubs are very important if we wish to have a nice, healthy looking skin. They are wonderful for exfoliating dead skin. Most store-bought ones contain additives, meaning you’re putting god-knows-what chemicals on your skin.

You can make things easier and save money by making your own, homemade body scrub. Don’t get me wrong, it’s quite easy to do it.
Here you can find my all-time favorite honey and sugar scrub that will do wonders for your skin.
Honey & Sugar Scrub
I’m not sure if you ever thought of this but, even the very best spas tend to make their own scrubs using natural ingredients. You, too, can make a scrub that copycats theirs. This gorgeous honey sugar scrub takes only 3 ingredients and works like magic.
The reason why I just love this body scrub is because it contains ingredients that I always have at home: honey, oil and sugar. Just whisk this up in a bowl and step into the shower.
Directions: Warm a jar of honey in the microwave for a few seconds until it becomes runny but not too hot to the touch. Pour about 1/4 cup of the honey into a bowl. Next, stir in 2 tablespoons of your favorite oil. Maybe these examples will inspire you: coconut oil, sweet almond oil or even baby oil. I know I said ingredients that you have at home, so you can simply use olive oil, which is also great for the skin. Last but not least, add about a 1/2 cup of sugar. I prefer brown sugar, but a basic white sugar would work as well. Mix well.
Before you start applying it, step in the shower and turn on the water. Get completely wet and then turn off the shower.
Place some of the mixture in your palms and massage in a circular motion all over your legs, arms, belly, butt and chest. Don’t do this while the shower’s running or you’ll wash off the mixture before you get the full effect.
Rinse off in the shower and pat dry with a towel. After you get out, make sure to apply a body lotion to close the body care circle.
